Medical weight loss is not cheating

Background

Tall poppy syndrome runs deep in Australian culture. We value hard work — and anything seen as an 'easier' path is often labelled cheating. That mindset shapes how many Australians view medical weight loss.

For decades, we’ve been told weight loss should be earned, and that medical support is a shortcut. But at Juniper, we know it’s not that simple. When hormones, metabolism, and genetics are at play, it’s not about taking the easy way out — it’s about levelling the playing field.

Through real patient stories and direct, empowering messaging, our ‘medical weight loss is not cheating’ performance content challenges stigma and helps women feel confident taking control of their health.

Here’s a snapshot of top-performing content I produced for Juniper across TV, YouTube, radio, and Meta.
